In order to produce these stats, the following assumptions and stats need to be made/used.

 

  • 63% of the UK population drinks coffee regularly (that's more than tea!) (1)
  • On average, coffee lovers in the UK drink 2 coffees every day (2)
  • The average cost of a coffee (purchased in a coffee shop) is £3.40 (3)
  • The vend price of a Lavazza coffee in your workplace is £1 - this will vary based on your situation
  •  Assuming all coffee drinkers will visit a coffee shop once per day and have one coffee
  • Assuming staff members work an 8 hour workday
  • A trip to a coffee shop during work hours will take 16 minutes (4)
